CTO Tuesdays, 6/8: Eliminating the presentation tier

Join Active Endpoints CTO Michael Rowley tomorrow, June 8, for his weekly technical talk CTO Tuesdays at 12pm EDT / 9am PDT / 16:00 UTC. Register at http://www.activevos.com/ctot. This week's topic is "Eliminating the presentation tier."

Typical web applications have a service tier and a presentation tier on the application server. However, AJAX technologies have made it possible to move more presentation logic to the web browser. In this talk, Rowley will describe how ActiveVOS has used these techniques to completely eliminate the presentation tier in the work-list application.

Technologies discussed on "CTO Tuesdays" cover a wide variety of BPM technologies, including BPMN 2.0, process modeling tools, BPEL, execution engines, AJAX-based forms development and human task integration.
