Websphere Designer

An international consultancy is looking for an experienced Websphere Designer to join them on a 3-month contract with a good chance of an extension. The candidate will work as a member of a solution team under the direction of a solution lead for the area in which they work in, and reporting day-to-day to the elaboration phase project manager. The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience Exposure to Service Oriented Architecture development. Experienced in producing Interface Specifications and their related UML Products (system-level activity and sequence diagrams, analysis class models etc). Experienced with requirements management processes and tools. Experienced in systems development projects using Rational Unified Process and the Rational Toolset. Experience of WSDL and XSD design, development and deployment approaches and tools. Experience of working with offshore development teams - and on shored resource from offshore suppliers. In-depth knowledge of SOA and BPEL design and development tools - ideally Websphere (WID and process server) or equivalent (e.g. Oracle JDeveloper/BPEL Process Manager). Your main responsibilities will be Produce the high-level design for components that can be delivered to the development team. Assist in identifying interface requirements and producing the relevant design artifacts. Provide support to onshore and offshore resources charged with developing the solution. Provide support to the current project activities. Competitive daily rate and excellent chance of extension to good performers.
